The Astru is a wired Hi-Fi in-ear headphone from Meze Audio, fitted with a 2-pin input connector allowing the use of interchangeable cables. Its shell is CNC-machined from a single block of pure titanium, then electroplated using a multi-layer process that gives it its finish.
At the heart of the device is a single 10 mm dynamic driver, fitted with a multi-layer composite dome combining 80 layers of gold, a titanium coating and a PEEK diaphragm. This construction aims to combine the tonal density typical of dynamic drivers with a level of detail usually associated with multi-driver systems. What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is worth checking the condition of the detachable cable and its 2-pin connector, a frequent point of mechanical stress on this type of earphone.
