The Meze Audio Strada is a closed-back wired Hi-Fi headphone, built around a dynamic driver architecture. It draws on certain design principles from the Liric model, in a format presented as lighter and more versatile, intended for use on the move as well as at home.
The headphones feature a 50 mm dynamic transducer and boast a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1% at 1 kHz, an indicator of the cleanliness of the reproduced signal. Their frequency range extends from 5 Hz to 30 kHz, widely covering the audible spectrum. With an impedance of 40 Ω and a sensitivity of 111 dB SPL/mW at 1 kHz, they remain easy to drive from most portable sources or mainstream headphone amplifiers. Connectivity is via a dual 3.5 mm TS jack connector.
The construction combines magnesium, zinc, Macassar ebony and leather. The housing is made of magnesium, a lightweight material, while the earcup shells are crafted from Macassar ebony with a metallic green finish.

What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is worth checking the condition of the earpads and their magnetic fitting system, as well as the condition of the cable and its 3.5 mm jack connectors, common points of wear on this type of wired headphone. It is also advisable to check that both channels are working correctly and that there is no play in the Macassar ebony shells.
