Description
The Mission 790SE is a two-way bookshelf speaker with bass-reflex loading, designed to deliver precise listening in a compact format. This SE (Sonically Enhanced) version builds on the base of the 790 model with adjustments intended to refine sound reproduction compared to the original version.
The speaker combines a 130 mm bass-mid driver with a 25 mm silk dome tweeter, loaded onto a short horn intended to improve sound dispersion within the room. The bass-reflex loading extends the bass beyond what the compact cabinet format would suggest, with a stated frequency response of 65 Hz to 20 kHz (± 3 dB).
With an impedance of 8 Ω and a sensitivity of 87 dB, this speaker remains easy to drive and is well suited to pairing with a modest power amplifier, without requiring an oversized output stage.
