Description
The Mission 794 SE Piano is a 3-way bass-reflex floorstanding speaker, designed to deliver a full sound with good treble definition. Its piano black finish gives it a refined presence, suited to integration into a living room or a dedicated listening room.
This SE version relies on an architecture with three separate drivers: a 16.5 cm woofer, a 13 cm mid-woofer and a 25 mm silk dome tweeter. This division of tasks between three transducers allows each driver to work over a narrower frequency range, which favours precision and limits distortion compared with a two-way configuration. What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is worth checking the condition of the woofer and mid-woofer suspensions, which can stiffen or crack over time and affect the low-end output.
