The M8S-500S is a stereo power amplifier from Musical Fidelity, intended to work alongside a preamplifier to power a pair of speakers. It has neither volume control nor input selector: its sole function is to amplify the signal with maximum fidelity and power reserve.
It delivers 500 watts per channel into an 8 Ohm load, a power output that allows a comfortable dynamic margin even on demanding musical passages. Its total harmonic distortion remains below 0.007% typical, a level that limits the amplifier's own sonic imprint on the signal.
