Description
The NAD D 3020 V2 is a compact stereo integrated amplifier, conceived as the modern extension of the original NAD 3020. It retains the spirit of simplicity of the latter while incorporating current digital uses, so as to form the heart of a hi-fi system capable of accommodating both a turntable and a digital source.
This amplifier combines an MM phono input, intended for a turntable fitted with a moving magnet cartridge, with an aptX Bluetooth connection as well as coaxial and optical digital inputs, allowing a computer, smartphone or media box to be connected without going through an analogue input. It delivers an output power of 30 W RMS per channel, with a dynamic power rated at 100 W, a difference that reflects its ability to respond to a track's energy peaks without being limited to its continuous power. An amplified headphone output, with its own volume control, completes the unit and allows for individual listening with demanding headphones.

The MM phono input is also worth checking with a turntable actually connected, as a poorly used connector or gain setting can result in excessive hiss.
