Description
The Copenhagen 2 is a hi-fi shelf designed to fit into a NorStone modular unit. It can serve as the first level or complement other elements of the Copenhagen range, in order to build an expandable hi-fi unit suited to each individual set-up.
Its structure is made of metal, paired with a thick oak top, for a stable base capable of supporting a maximum load of 50 kg. With a height of 26.3 cm, it offers enough space to accommodate a hi-fi component while retaining an open design at both the front and back. This openness promotes air circulation around the equipment placed on it, which limits the risk of overheating during extended use.
The modular nature of the Copenhagen 2 allows it to be paired with other shelves from the same collection, such as the Base, the 1 or the 3, to build a bespoke unit that is sturdy and visually consistent, and which can be expanded as needs or acquisitions grow.
This module is aimed at those wishing to organise a hi-fi set-up made up of several components (amplifier, player, turntable) on a unit designed for ventilation and modularity, rather than on a conventional closed unit.

What to check before buying used
The oak top deserves close inspection: deep scratches, stains or rings left by a component placed on it for a long time often indicate intensive use. Also check the metal structure, in particular the strength of the fixing points and the absence of any play or deformation that could affect the overall stability. Finally, make sure that all mounting screws and brackets are present, as a modular unit quickly loses its compatibility with the rest of the Copenhagen range if any assembly parts are missing.
