Description
The NorStone Slender is a hi-fi rack designed to house a complete audio system, from sources to amplifiers. Its structure is based on tapered metal tubes that give it a slim silhouette while ensuring the support of several stacked shelves.
The construction places emphasis on load capacity: the top shelf supports up to 25 kg, while each of the internal shelves accepts up to 50 kg. This difference in load allows equipment to be distributed according to weight, reserving the lower positions for the heaviest items such as a turntable or a power amplifier. The shelves, 12 mm thick, are spaced 265 mm, 192 mm and 192 mm apart, leaving a generous height for the first level and tighter spacing for the others.
With its matt anthracite grey finish and slim design, this rack is aimed at hi-fi enthusiasts wishing to organise several components of a system on a single stand, in a living room or dedicated listening room, without visually cluttering the space thanks to its streamlined structure.

What to check before buying used
The matt anthracite grey finish of the tapered tubes marks easily with impacts and scratches: check for any dents or oxidation at the welding points and junctions with the shelves. Check the flatness of the 12 mm thick shelves, which can warp under a prolonged load close to the maximum rating, as well as the condition of the fixings and mounting screws at the corners. Also ensure that the three shelf levels are stable and properly aligned, with no play or creaking when light pressure is applied.
