Description
The NuPrime MCX-800MZ is a multichannel power amplifier intended for demanding home cinema or multi-channel installations. It features eight amplification channels, each built around an independent stereo module, allowing several speakers to be powered directly without the need for an additional external power amplifier.
Each module has its own adaptive-voltage switching power supply, synchronised with a high-speed gate driver error correction circuit. This architecture allows each channel to deliver high power with very low distortion, for a neutral and detailed sound reproduction even under heavy demand. Gain is adjustable from x17 to x32 via a variable resistor, allowing the input sensitivity to be matched to the source used. The input impedance of 47,000 Ω and a bandwidth of 10 Hz to 50 kHz ensure good compatibility with most preamplifiers and audio processors on the market, while a signal-to-noise ratio above 95 dB at 1 W, 10 W and 100 W limits perceptible background noise at different listening levels.
An advanced protection circuit continuously monitors the operation of the unit and intervenes in the event of a short circuit, overload, overheating or undervoltage, contributing to the reliability of the system during extended listening sessions.

What to check before buying used
