The SPU Royal GM MKII is a moving coil (MC) cartridge from Ortofon, designed as the new version of the SPU Royal GM cartridge. It fits onto a turntable equipped with an SPU-compatible tonearm and converts the signal picked up in the groove into an electrical signal intended for a phono preamplifier suited to moving coil cartridges.
This cartridge features an Ortofon Replicant 100 diamond stylus, a stylus tip designed to deliver a high level of detail retrieval from the record groove.
