Description
This pack contains RCA connectors from the WBT 0102 range, intended to equip or repair audio cables for hi-fi installations. These plugs are used to terminate a custom RCA cable or replace faulty connectors on an existing cable.
The WBT 0102 uses the Nextgen technology principle, also found on the WBT 0110 model. Its central contact is made with a minimum mass of fine silver conductor, a metal chosen for its electrical conductivity, its speed of transmission and the fineness of the information it conveys. The silver elements receive a treatment designed to limit corrosion and metal migration, two phenomena that degrade contact quality over time. This model's bandwidth reaches 200 MHz, a value higher than the standard usually found on RCA sockets.
The upper part of the plug clips onto the body of the RCA socket via a closing system unique to WBT, ensuring stable contact and a secure connection. The external tightening cone adapts to the diameter tolerances of female RCA sockets, while the clamping system prevents any twisting of the cable during assembly.

What to check before buying used
The closing clip unique to WBT should still lock firmly onto the body of the RCA socket, without play or slack that would indicate a tightening cone worn by repeated assembly. Check that the fine silver central contact shows no trace of corrosion or oxidation, which could impair signal quality despite the original anti-corrosion treatment. The clamping system should remain intact to hold the cable without twisting it during installation.
