The Jamo D600 is a complete home cinema speaker system, developed to meet THX Ultra 2 certification, a reference standard used in professional cinema screening rooms. This pack combines several speakers and a subwoofer designed as a coherent set, intended for both film soundtrack reproduction and hi-fi music listening.
Jamo developed specific transducers for this high-end system. The same drivers equip the front, centre and surround speakers, which ensures tonal consistency as sound moves from one speaker to another, an important point for the coherence of sound effects in home cinema. The 15-inch subwoofer, rated at 1600 W, incorporates Motional Feedback technology, designed to improve bass precision and control. Also check the suspensions of the transducers common to the front, centre and surround speakers, which can stiffen or crack over time, as well as the condition of the grilles and cabinetry of each unit. A test at high volume on all channels helps identify a potentially worn driver or abnormal hiss.
