Description
This pack brings together a Triangle Lunar 1 turntable, developed in partnership with the Austrian manufacturer Pro-Ject, and a pair of BR03 Connect active speakers with built-in amplification. Together they form a complete, self-contained stereo system, designed for listening to 33 and 45 rpm records without requiring an external amplifier or preamplifier.
The heart of the system lies in the amplifier built into the BR03 Connect speakers, a class D design delivering 2x60 Watts. It drives a 16 cm Triangle woofer in cellulose pulp and a 25 mm silk dome tweeter, for a frequency response stated as linear. A built-in MM phono preamplifier allows the turntable to be connected directly to the active speaker, without a separate phono stage.
The system's connectivity is particularly extensive: Bluetooth reception with aptX HD module (24-bit / 48 kHz), a USB B port using a digital-to-analogue converter up to 384 kHz/32-bit and DSD 256, a CEC-compatible TV ARC input for synchronisation with the television remote control, as well as coaxial, optical and RCA inputs and a subwoofer output. The two speakers are connected to each other via a dedicated 3-metre cable supplied, and a radio-frequency remote control with a range of 15 metres allows the whole system to be controlled remotely.
This pack is aimed at those wishing to rediscover vinyl listening without multiplying the number of components in the chain, while retaining the ability to stream from a smartphone, a computer or a television. Its stated power output suits rooms of 15 to 35 m², whether for classic music listening, working from home, gaming or monitoring via the USB input.

What to check before buying used
On the Lunar 1 turntable, check the condition of the cartridge and the tension of the drive belt, two wear items that affect playback quality. On the BR03 Connect speakers, test the built-in class D amplification on each unit as well as the various inputs (Bluetooth, USB, optical, coaxial, ARC) to rule out any connectivity faults. Finally, examine the speaker driver suspensions and the condition of the silk dome tweeter, which are sensitive to impact and to prolonged storage in humid environments.
