Description
This pack brings together a turntable and a pair of active speakers, designed by the Triangle teams to offer a complete listening system that's ready to work from the moment it's installed. The turntable was developed in partnership with Pro-Ject, while the LN01A speakers handle amplification of the signal without the need for a separate amplifier.
The turntable is compatible with 33 and 45 rpm records. It relies on a belt drive and a motor designed to limit vibrations, two elements that contribute to playback stability and reduced background noise. The tonearm, made of aluminium, is fitted with sapphire bearings for precise movement and limited wear over time.
The cartridge fitted as standard is an Ortofon OM-10 E, whose output voltage of 4 mV reflects a high sensitivity, a point that makes it easier to pair with the LN01A speakers without an additional preamplification stage. The tonearm and cartridge are supplied pre-adjusted, which simplifies setup compared with a turntable sold bare.
The signal passes via a Pro-Ject Connect It E phono cable supplied with the pack, fitted with HP-OFC copper conductors and gold-plated RCA plugs, through to the dedicated phono input on the LN01A speakers. This connection, specifically designed for this turntable/speaker pairing, aims to preserve the quality of the analogue signal along the entire path.
This pack is aimed at those who wish to start or return to listening to vinyl without multiplying the number of elements in the hi-fi system: no amplifier to integrate, no compatibility to check between turntable and speakers, the whole set having been designed to work together straight out of the box.

What to check before buying used
The Ortofon OM-10 E cartridge deserves a check of the stylus under a magnifying glass, as a worn or bent tip degrades the sound and can damage the grooves. Also check the condition of the drive belt, which loosens or cracks over time and causes speed variations. On the LN01A speakers, test the built-in amplification as well as the inputs and the supplied Pro-Ject Connect It E cable, whose RCA plugs can oxidise with use.
