Description
The Dual CS 529 BT is a fully automatic belt-driven turntable. The tonearm lifts, moves and lowers without manual intervention, with the user only needing to place the record and start playback. The chassis is made of MDF with a wood finish, available with a walnut veneer.
The tonearm, fully suspended, rests on precision pivoting ball bearings mounted in a double gimbal, a design intended to limit parasitic friction when tracking the groove. Belt drive delivers speed fluctuation of less than ±0.07% according to the DIN standard, a criterion that reflects the platter's rotational stability and thus the consistency of the sound reproduced. Check the condition of the drive belt, which can loosen or dry out over time and may cause slowing or audible wow.
