Harmonic Resolution Systems Vortex

The Harmonic Resolution Systems Vortex is a decoupling device intended for audio components whose chassis is built from plate or metal billet, rather than standard sheet metal. Unlike a conventional footer, it sits in direct contact with the component's chassis, bypassing the component's original feet, with the point resting on the HRS isolation base and the large-diameter section bearing directly against the chassis.

Its design relies on a composite material interface developed specifically by HRS, housed within an outer steel casing. This material aims to preserve signal resolution and dynamics without adding hardness or listening fatigue. The Vortex also incorporates a second internal element, tasked with dissipating the chassis's mechanical energy as it travels through the non-magnetic stainless steel casing. The casing's design routes this energy along an internal path of a set length, giving this element time to absorb the unwanted energy before it can return to the system.

This type of decoupling is aimed at owners of high-end components with carefully engineered mechanical construction, thick chassis, machined plates or massive metal billets, for which a simple rubber footer or conventional spike is not enough to address the vibrations specific to this type of structure.
