The I35 Prisma is an integrated amplifier from Primare, the latest representative of the Swedish brand's series 30. It combines an analogue power stage, digital conversion and network connectivity within a single unit, designed to drive a pair of speakers directly without any additional electronics.
The heart of the unit relies on UFPD 2 technology, an evolution of the all-analogue Class-D system already acclaimed on previous Primare generations. This architecture delivers 150 watts into 8 ohms with a claimed linearity that remains constant across the entire audible range, which translates, when listening, into a fast, clean and responsive sound, with no colouration added by the amplification stage.
Beyond the balanced analogue inputs, the I35 Prisma incorporates a complete DAC stage capable of handling streams up to PCM 384 kHz/24-bit and DSD 256.
