Description
The Attessa is a Class AB integrated amplifier from Roksan, featuring wireless multiroom streaming via the BluOS platform. It allows music to be streamed from a phone or tablet, manages multiple audio sources and can be controlled via the MaestroUnite app, which centralises the device's configuration and updates.
The 2x 80W output into 8 Ohms is sufficient to drive speakers of typical sensitivity without excessive strain. The frequency response of 5 kHz to 50 kHz, combined with a harmonic distortion rate below 0.02% and a signal-to-noise ratio above 104 dB, reflects a clean sound reproduction with very low background noise. The 29 dB gain and channel separation above 75 dB contribute to a precise stereo image. The unit also incorporates a phono stage, allowing a turntable to be connected directly without an external preamplifier, as well as a high-performance DAC designed by Roksan.

What to check before buying used
On an integrated amplifier of this type, it is worth checking that the motorised volume potentiometer works correctly and that there is no crackling on the RCA inputs, particularly the phono input, which is more sensitive to interference.
