Description
The MR1 MKIII are a pair of compact Bluetooth speakers designed by Ruark for desktop or living room use. They connect to a computer, a television, a portable device or a turntable, and allow you to fill a work or relaxation space with sound without a cumbersome setup.
Each speaker features a linear class A/B amplifier with a power output of 20 W and a 24-bit Cirrus DAC for digital signal processing. The 75 mm driver uses a neodymium magnet, a material that improves control of the diaphragm's movement, combined with electromagnetic shielding and a 20 mm tweeter for the treble. The stated frequency range extends from 55 to 22,000 Hz.

What to check before buying used
On this model, check that Bluetooth pairing and automatic standby are working properly, two electronic functions that can become unreliable with age. Also check the condition of the 75 mm driver and the tweeter, as well as the absence of any noise or distortion from the class A/B amplification. If the unit is sold with the optional battery, test its actual runtime, as rechargeable batteries lose capacity over time.
