Description
The Sonoro Stream is a compact music system designed for wet rooms. Its housing, available in wood finishes, is protected against splashes, allowing it to sit on a bathroom shelf as easily as on a kitchen worktop. It combines internet radio, DAB+ digital radio, FM radio, Bluetooth playback and streaming services in a single unit, with no need for additional electronics.
The acoustic section is built around a 3-inch full-range speaker handling the midrange and treble, supported by two passive side speakers that fill out the bass despite the cabinet's small volume. A dedicated equalisation function corrects the reverberation typical of tiled surfaces, while a conventional equaliser allows bass and treble to be adjusted according to placement. The supplied remote control is waterproof to IPX7 and operates via infrared, so it can still be used from a bath or shower.

This model is aimed at those who want to listen to the radio or their playlists in a bathroom or kitchen, without any installation or separate speaker. At 149 x 171 x 104 mm and around 1.1 kg, it can easily be moved from one room to another. Alarm, snooze and sleep timer functions, along with a separate podcast mode, also make it a bedside radio alarm for a bedroom. It can be controlled directly on the unit, via the remote control, or through the OKTIV app.

What to check before buying used
Test the IPX7 remote control first: it is the accessory most often lost or worn on this type of unit, and replacing it is not always straightforward. Then check the Wi-Fi connection and actual playback of several web radio stations, as some streams disappear over time; also check that the firmware still allows access to the streaming services. Prolonged use in a bathroom can leave marks on the controls and rotary knob: make sure the rotary detent and buttons respond smoothly, and inspect the wood finish of the cabinet and the grille around the seams. Finally, confirm the presence of the original 12 V mains adapter and that the charging USB port works properly.
