The Sonetto V G2 is a 3-way bass-reflex floorstanding speaker from Sonus faber. It is aimed at stereo hi-fi systems seeking a balanced sound reproduction, supported by a dedicated midrange driver and a silk dome tweeter for the high frequencies.
The midrange design draws on Sonus faber's Suprema technology, with a Camelia paper pulp diaphragm renowned for its clarity. An aluminium phase plug completes this driver to ensure even sound dispersion. The bass is handled by two 16.5 cm woofers with paper pulp cones, while the treble is delivered by a 28 mm DAD silk dome tweeter. The bass-reflex loading relies on a front-firing laminar port, making the speaker easier to position even close to a wall.
