The Supra Lorad MD06 MK3 is a 6-outlet mains block designed for audio and hi-fi installations, paired here with the LoRad 2.5 IEC shielded mains cable, 1.5 m. This third generation of the Supra MKIII range aims to clean up the power supply to connected equipment, reducing interference that can affect sound quality.
The block is built around an IEC chassis manufactured by a German specialist, combined with Swedish aluminium profiles, all assembled at the new Supra factory. This shielded aluminium construction is designed to eliminate stationary noise generated by common sources such as mobile phones, DECT phones or light dimmers, as well as numerous other domestic electrical appliances found in a household.
The accompanying LoRad 2.5 mains cable is also shielded, a choice resulting from several years of research at Supra. The shielding forms a first barrier against electromagnetic radiation transmitted to or from mains cables, while a slight twist in the cable limits magnetic emissions.
