This Supra HDMI cable provides the digital video link between a source (player, box, console) and a television or video projector. It is designed to carry the very high frequencies required by the HDMI standard, with the aim of preserving the integrity of the original signal even over significant lengths.
The cable is manufactured in Sweden from the brand's own OFC copper, referenced HF100, paired with 28-micron gold-plated connectors. This construction aims to limit signal loss and ensure stable transmission, including on the longest versions in the range. The model is indeed approved by the ATC laboratory, accredited by HDMI, up to 15 metres, a certification described as unique in the world at this length.
The cable is compatible with common high-definition formats: HDTV, 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p and 1080i/p, and claims Full HD compatibility with the HDMI standard. What to check before buying used
The gold-plated connectors deserve a visual check: look for any traces of oxidation, play or bending on the plugs, which would indicate repeated unplugging or unsuitable storage. Also check the sheath and shielding along the entire length, particularly at the connector exit points where internal micro-breaks are most common. On longer versions, a full transmission test (maximum resolution and frequency) is preferable to a simple basic display check.
