Description
The Lorad MD08 MK3 SP is a multi-outlet mains distribution block from Supra, designed to power a hi-fi installation while filtering out electrical interference present on the domestic mains supply. This is the third generation of the MK3 range, which succeeds previous versions with both aesthetic and technical improvements.
The block features 8 outlets and is built on a shielded aluminium chassis. This shielding is designed to eliminate standing noise generated by common sources such as mobile phones, DECT phones, light dimmers or other domestic electrical equipment present in a home. The IEC chassis comes from a specialist German manufacturer, while the aluminium profiles are imported from Sweden; the unit is then assembled at Supra's new factory. This MK3 version brings improved filtering as well as enhanced active protection compared with earlier generations.
This mains distribution block is aimed at hi-fi enthusiasts who wish to limit electrical interference that could affect their system's sound quality, particularly in domestic environments rich in interference sources (routers, wireless devices, light dimmers). It is suited to installations where several devices need to be powered simultaneously from a single point, with shared filtering.
What to check before buying used
