The Supra Lorad MD10 MK3 SP is a multi-outlet mains distribution block intended for audio and hi-fi installations. It brings together ten outlets on a shielded aluminium chassis, with RF filtering and integrated active protection, to power several components of a system from a single mains supply.
This MK3 version marks an evolution compared to previous generations in the Supra range. The IEC chassis now comes from a specialist German manufacturer, while the aluminium profiles are produced in Sweden before being assembled at the new Supra factory. The aluminium shielding of the unit is designed to limit standing noise generated by electromagnetic sources common in a domestic environment, such as mobile phones, DECT phones or dimmer switches.
This type of mains distribution block is aimed at users wishing to centralise the power supply of several hi-fi or home cinema devices while seeking to reduce electrical interference likely to affect sound quality.
