The Supra ZAC Toslink is a digital optical connecting cable, designed to link two audio devices fitted with a Toslink output and input, such as a digital player and an amplifier or a DAC. It transmits the digital audio signal in the form of light via a plastic optical fibre, without going through a conventional electrical connection.
This cable is based on a fibre-bending principle called the "Zero Attenuation Concept" (ZAC), designed to limit divergence losses during transmission.
