The TAGA Harmony HTR-1000CD V.3 is a mid-sized all-in-one hifi system that brings together a hybrid amplifier, a CD player, a DAB and analogue FM tuner, a digital converter with USB input, and a Bluetooth module in a single unit. This integrated design allows a complete audio setup to be assembled without multiplying separate components.
The distinctive feature of this amplifier lies in its hybrid preamp section, fitted with two ECC83 PSVANE vacuum tubes from the Classic series, paired with class A/B amplification. This combination aims to deliver a warm, linear sound typical of tube stages, while retaining the stability of transistor amplification for the power stage. The unit delivers 2x90 W RMS into 4 ohms, with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio above 60 dB.

What to check before buying used
The two ECC83 PSVANE tubes are consumables: sound that becomes dull, hissy or unstable at power-on indicates a pair needing replacement, and it should be checked that they are still genuine PSVANE units and not substituted with lower-quality references. The CD tray and optical assembly deserve a playback test on several discs, including burned ones, to rule out a worn laser or a weakened ejection mechanism. A check of the volume potentiometer (crackling when turned) and the condition of the capacitors in the class A/B stage completes the inspection before purchase.
