Pioneer NC-50DAB

The Pioneer NC-50DAB is an all-in-one integrated amplifier designed to replace several components of a traditional hi-fi system with a single unit in a classic format. It features a CD player, a network player, digital radio, internet radio, access to high-quality subscription music services, as well as current streaming standards for connecting a smartphone or tablet. All the user has to do is choose which speakers to pair with it.

All digital sources, whether built into the unit or connected via a digital input, pass through a SABRE32 digital-to-analogue converter from ESS, chosen for its sound reproduction quality. Amplification relies on Direct-Energy-HD modules developed by Pioneer, a compact technology designed to deliver a transparent and natural sound with a power capability that, with a conventional architecture, would have required a much larger unit.

This all-in-one format is aimed at those who want a complete hi-fi system without multiplying separate components or taking up more space in the living room. It suits both everyday listening via streaming and digital radio and more conventional use with CDs, while leaving the choice of speakers open according to sound preferences and room layout.
