The Magnum Dynalab MD108T is a valve-based analogue FM tuner, designed for hi-fi reception of FM stations. It follows on from the MD108, a standalone tuner that featured in the Magnum Dynalab catalogue for over ten years and was the first from the brand to incorporate a magic eye for station tuning as well as a separate audio stage within the unit.
The distinctive feature of the MD108T lies in the integration of TRACC (Triode Reference Audio Control Center) technology, a triode audio stage developed by Magnum Dynalab and first introduced on the MD109 tuner. This design was applied to the MD108 architecture in order to give this historic model the benefit of what the brand considers the most accomplished audio reproduction in its range. The magic eye, inherited from the MD108, remains present to offer precise visual tracking of station tuning.
