Description
The Valerion DGS-01 is a table stand designed to install a projector on a piece of furniture or a table rather than on the ceiling. Originally designed for the Valerion VisionMaster and StreamMaster ranges, it also accommodates any other device fitted with a standard 1/4 inch screw thread, provided its weight does not exceed 10 kg.
Its structure is made of aluminium, a material that gives it good rigidity while remaining discreet in a living room or home cinema space. Once the projector is fixed onto the stand, the whole assembly can be swivelled and tilted through 360°, allowing precise adjustment of the projection direction and angle according to the room layout and the position of the screen or wall used.
The stand also incorporates scratch-resistant silicone reinforcements at the point of contact with the device, designed to limit marks on the projector's casing when fitting it.
This stand is aimed at those wishing to install their projector on a low unit or table rather than fixing it to the ceiling, particularly for occasional use or in a space where wall mounting is not an option. It suits both users of a Valerion projector and those with another model compatible with a 1/4 inch screw thread.

What to check before buying used
Check the tightness of the ball joint on its swivel and tilt axes: any play or stiff point indicates wear that will compromise the stability of the projector once fitted. Examine the condition of the silicone reinforcements at the point of contact, intended to protect the casing from scratches, as well as the locking wheel or screw of the 1/4 inch screw thread. Finally, inspect the base and aluminium arms for dents, bends or signs of corrosion that could weaken the supported load.
