Valerion VisionMaster Max
4K UHD triple RGB laser video projector, featuring integrated Google TV and adjustable projection up to 300 inches, to turn your living room into a cinema.
Description
The Valerion VisionMaster Max is a home video projector fitted with a triple RGB laser light source and a native 4K UHD resolution (3,840×2,160), complemented by AI Super Resolution upscaling technology. It runs the Google TV operating system, giving direct access to the main video streaming platforms without the need for an external box.
Its brightness of 3,000 ISO lumens combined with a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 with dynamic iris aims to deliver a bright and detailed image, even in dark scenes. Coverage of 110% of the Rec.2020 colour space and compatibility with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG formats allow content mastered in these standards to be fully exploited, with support for the professional IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode formats as well as 24 and 48 frames per second frame rates.
For installation, the 0.9 to 1.5:1 optical zoom and the motorised vertical lens shift of +/- 55% provide flexibility for positioning the unit without needing strict alignment with the screen. Projection size ranges from 40 to 300 inches, with several aspect ratios available (4:3, 16:9, 21:9, 32:9), covering cinema use as well as office or multi-screen applications.
The built-in audio relies on two 12 W speakers with DTS Virtual:X, complemented by support for DTS:X and Dolby Audio, a setup designed for standalone listening without an external system, while remaining compatible with an amplifier or soundbar via S/PDIF, audio jack or HDMI eARC.
This video projector is aimed at home cinema use in a dedicated room or living room, for a user wanting a large image diagonal with minimal cabling thanks to Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and native streaming apps (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, Apple TV+, among others). The HDMI 2.1/2.0, USB 3.0/2.0 and Ethernet RJ45 connectivity also allows external sources such as a games console or media player to be connected.

What to check before buying used
The triple RGB laser source gradually loses brightness with usage hours: ask for the number of hours shown in the projector's menu, as a high figure may indicate a drop in contrast and colour accuracy. Check that the motorised optical zoom and vertical lens shift work properly, and that there are no dead pixels or visible marks on the image against a plain light background. The ventilation drawer and air vents also warrant a check, as build-up of dust can accelerate wear on the optical unit.
