WiiM Mini

The WiiM Mini is a very small network player (streamer), designed to add network audio streaming to an existing hi-fi setup. It connects to an amplifier or active speakers and allows music to be played from streaming services or from a NAS and local files.

The device features a TI stereo digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), with a signal-to-noise ratio of 106 dB and a total harmonic distortion (THD+N) rate of -92 dB, ensuring a clean and accurate analogue output. It supports 24-bit audio output up to 192 kHz, a level of definition equivalent to studio recordings. In terms of connectivity, it offers a 3.5 mm jack input, a 3.5 mm jack output and a 24-bit/192 kHz optical output, providing several ways to connect it to an existing setup.

The WiiM Mini supports numerous music streaming services, including Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Tidal, Pandora, Napster, TuneIn and Spotify Connect. It is compatible with AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth, as well as with Amazon Alexa and Siri, allowing music to be controlled by voice via an existing Echo or HomePod. It can also be paired with other AirPlay 2 speakers, Alexa-compatible devices or WiiM Mini units to create a synchronised multiroom system.

This network player is aimed at those who wish to modernise a hi-fi system or an existing amplifier by adding network streaming, without changing all their equipment. Its very small size (69 x 24 x 69 mm) and weight of 40 g make it a discreet solution, suited to both a single room and a multiroom configuration combining several listening points.
