WiiM Pro

The WiiM Pro is a compact network player designed to stream music from the leading audio services on the market, while handling digital-to-analogue conversion of the signal thanks to its built-in DAC. It connects to the home network and allows audio streams to be listened to directly on an existing hi-fi system, without going through a computer.

Its TI Burr-Brown PCM5121 converter handles audio output up to 192 kHz at 24 bits, a resolution level matching that of studio recordings. The device supports multiroom via WiFi, Bluetooth, Aux and SPDIF inputs, allowing several listening zones to be synchronised with other WiiM or Linkplay devices, or integrated into an existing set of AirPlay 2, Amazon Echo or Google Home speakers. Connectivity includes an RCA input, an RCA output, an optical output, a digital coaxial output and an Ethernet port, offering several ways of connecting the device to an existing setup.

It is aimed at users wishing to modernise a hi-fi system by adding network streaming, without giving up audio quality or multiroom compatibility, particularly those who already have speakers or systems compatible with AirPlay 2, Bluetooth or Chromecast.
