The Sasha V is a three-way floorstanding speaker from Wilson Audio, the latest evolution of the WATT/Puppy platform. It combines two woofers, a midrange and a dome tweeter within a dual-enclosure bass-reflex architecture, designed to reproduce music with minimal signal alteration.
The 20.32 cm woofer fitted to the Sasha V is derived from the 8-inch driver of the Alexia Series-2, reworked to meet the specific requirements of this model. The 17.78 cm midrange and 2.54 cm dome tweeter are the same units used in the WAMM Master Chronosonic, the brand's flagship model, paired with a new crossover. The midrange/treble and bass enclosures, both tuned as bass-reflex designs with a rear port, are built respectively from X&S-Material and X-Material, two proprietary Wilson Audio composites: the former was developed for woofers and tweeters, the latter specifically for midrange precision.
With a sensitivity of 88 dB/1 W/1 m/1 kHz and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms (minimum 2.48 ohms at 85 Hz), the Sasha V requires an amplifier of at least 25 watts capable of delivering current through the impedance dips. Its frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 32 kHz at ±3 dB in-room average.
This model is intended for high-end systems paired with electronics capable of delivering substantial current, in listening rooms of varying dimensions. With dimensions of 36.8 x 113.7 x 58.2 cm and a weight of 111.13 kg per speaker, the Sasha V requires dedicated space and flooring capable of supporting its mass.

What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is advisable to check the condition of the woofer and midrange suspensions, which can stiffen or crack over time, as well as the integrity of the rear bass-reflex ports. It is also recommended to check the crossover and internal wiring, along with any signs of impact damage on the X-Material and S-Material enclosures, whose finish and structural integrity directly contribute to the speaker's acoustic performance.
