Description
The Electra 10 is a mains cable from Wireworld, designed to power the components of a hi-fi chain or an audio-video system. It belongs to a range of power cables dedicated to improving the electrical quality supplied to source components, amplifiers or signal processing electronics.
This model is built on OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper conductors, a continuous casting process that limits the number of grain boundaries in the metal, as well as a silver-plated copper alloy. What to check before buying used
The plugs and sheathing at the mains connectors deserve close inspection: a used cable that has been handled or bent too much may show loosened shielding or slightly loose pins, sources of micro-cuts or hum. Also check that the stated length matches the cable received, as the 1 to 3 metre models can be mixed up during successive resales.
