Description
The WS-X1A is a compact speaker from Yamaha, designed to function as a wireless surround speaker within a True X Surround system, alongside a True X soundbar. It can also be used on its own, as a portable Bluetooth speaker, independently of any home cinema setup.
Fitted with a 55 mm full-range driver paired with 10 W amplification, it delivers the surround channel once placed freely in the room, without any cabling to the soundbar. The Bluetooth 5.0 connection allows direct pairing for independent music listening, while IP67 certification permits use both indoors and outdoors, including near water. The battery charges via USB-C and offers up to 12 hours of playback for a full charge of around 3 hours.
This model is aimed at those wishing to enhance a True X soundbar with a genuine wireless surround effect, or seeking a lightweight, waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker to carry from room to room or outdoors.
