The CI-NAP 101 is a mono power amplifier from Naim Audio, designed for integration installations where discretion and reliability take precedence over size. Its compact format and rack-mountable design make it a unit intended to be installed out of sight, in a technical cupboard or rack, rather than in the listening room. It is intended to power a subwoofer or built-in speakers requiring high power, in a residential, marine or commercial environment.
Its versatility stems first from its impedance compatibility: it delivers 500 W into 8 ohms, 800 W into 4 ohms and up to 810 W into 2 ohms, allowing it to drive a range of loads without particular constraint. It also accepts 70V and 100V distribution lines, with 150 W and 240 W available respectively, a configuration typical of multi-speaker installations spread across several rooms or zones. A high-pass filter switchable between 50 Hz and 120 Hz allows it to be paired directly with a passive subwoofer without external filtering electronics. The 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio ensures quiet operation, complemented by a frequency response ranging from 3 Hz to 70 kHz at low impedance, ensuring wide-band reproduction. A fan triggered automatically according to temperature provides cooling without constant noise.

What to check before buying used
