Description
The CI Uniti 102 is a connected stereo integrated amplifier that combines an amplification function and a network player in a single chassis. Designed by Naim to work with Focal integrated speakers, it handles both amplification and audio streaming from a variety of multimedia sources: television, streaming platforms, video game consoles.
Under 8 ohms, the unit delivers 150 W per channel, a power that rises to 260 W under 4 ohms and 480 W under 2 ohms: this progression indicates a power supply capable of delivering current even into low loads, a useful point for current-demanding speakers. What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is worth checking that the network module functions correctly and that the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection is stable, as well as confirming that the built-in streaming services are correctly recognised, as these software functions may require a firmware update. Checking the inputs, particularly HDMI eARC and optical, as well as the pre-out outputs, helps ensure there is no crackling or dropout on any channel.
