Description
The FraimLite is a hi-fi rack designed by Naim Audio to house the components of an audio system within a modular structure. Its design allows levels to be added or removed according to the equipment being installed, and the space between shelves to be adjusted to suit the size of each unit.
The columns, available in natural aluminium or black finish, ensure the stability of the whole and come in two lengths, standard or extended, to suit different rack heights. The shelves are made of wood, with a choice of three types: cherry and black ash for a sober, elegant look, and maple for a more contemporary finish.
This rack is aimed at those wishing to organise an expandable hi-fi system, particularly owners of Naim Audio equipment or other components requiring modular storage. It suits both a simple setup and a system intended to grow gradually, as the FraimLite can later be upgraded element by element to the Fraim range.

What to check before buying used
Check the condition of the columns and fixing screws, which may show signs of oxidation or worn threads after several assembly and disassembly cycles. Inspect the wooden shelves: scratches, chipped varnish or slight warping are common depending on exposure to humidity. Make sure all brackets and connecting plates between columns and levels are present, as missing parts complicate any future extension to the Fraim range.
