The Mu-so is an all-in-one wireless music system designed by Naim Audio, bringing together powerful amplification and complete streaming electronics in a single speaker. It is aimed at those seeking a compact audio solution capable of covering network streaming, Bluetooth and classic physical inputs, without going through a separate amplifier and speakers.
The stated power output is 450 W, spread across six individually driven speakers: two tweeters, two midranges and two woofers, each powered by 75 W in Class D amplification. What to check before buying used
Listen to the balance between the six speakers at high volume: a worn tweeter or midrange results in stereo imbalance or a lack of definition in the treble. Check that the Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth module pair without dropouts, as network cards on early units can degrade over time. Also check support for Naim software updates, as some older models are no longer recognised by the current app, which limits access to multiroom and streaming services.
