Description
The iQ series extends PSB's acoustic expertise by pairing its speaker design with the BluOS network platform, recognised for its music streaming and sharing capabilities.
BluOS™ is an award-winning multi-room music management software. It allows you to centralise your music library and stream it to any BluOS-compatible system or speaker, via the BluOS Controller app installed on a phone, tablet or computer. Relying on the home network, BluOS connects one or several compatible devices, allowing the same source to be listened to in perfect synchronisation throughout the house, or different content to be played in different rooms. Its technology ensures wireless, lossless music transmission up to 24-bit/192 kHz, at high speed, with no perceptible latency or sound degradation.
Playback can be carried out via wired inputs - analogue, MM phono, TOSLINK, HDMI - or wirelessly via AirPlay 2 and aptX HD Bluetooth, with native integration of more than 20 streaming services. The audiophile-grade digital-to-analogue converter of the Alpha iQ handles resolution up to 24-bit/192 kHz and provides full MQA decoding and rendering for high-resolution playback.
