Description
The Reloop Turn 3 Mk2 is a belt-drive turntable designed for listening to and digitising records. It is supplied fitted with an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge mounted on a 223.6 mm straight tonearm, paired with a 300 mm diameter aluminium platter.
The built-in phono preamplifier, fitted with a phono/line selector, allows the turntable to be connected directly to a line input on an amplifier, without the need for an external preamplifier. The stated output levels with the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge are 4.0 mV in phono position and 224 mV in line position. The turntable offers three rotation speeds, 33, 45 and 78 rpm, and adjustable anti-skating to set the lateral pressure of the tonearm on the record. The signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 60 dB, with wow and flutter measured at 0.2% WRMS, two indicators of the motor's rotational stability.
The USB type B output allows you to digitise your vinyl collection in 16-bit / 48 kHz, in addition to the gold-plated RCA output for a conventional analogue connection.
This turntable is aimed at anyone wishing to put together a complete vinyl system without multiplying separate components, thanks to its built-in preamplifier, while retaining the option of digitising records via USB. It is suitable both for everyday domestic listening and for occasional digital backup of a record collection.

What to check before buying used
Check the condition of the drive belt, which loosens or cracks over time and can cause speed variations; an older unit may occasionally need a replacement. Examine the tip of the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge as well as the stylus, which are sensitive to wear or knocks, and test the phono/line selector to rule out any faulty contact. Finally, check the aluminium platter and the anti-skating setting, which can become misaligned after transport.
