Description
The Reloop Turn X is an audiophile direct-drive turntable, designed for precise and stable record playback. It incorporates a phono preamp with a phono/line selector and handles the three common rotation speeds, 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm.
The direct-drive DC motor ensures constant rotation speeds and a start-up time of less than 0.3 seconds, thanks to high torque. The S-shaped tonearm allows free, smooth movement, favourable to making the most of the cartridge's capabilities. A universal SME connector allows the cartridge system to be changed without complex operations. The aluminium platter and anti-skating adjustable over a range of 0 to 3 g complete the set, while the gold-plated phono output and earth connector aim to limit oxidation and preserve signal quality.

What to check before buying used
On this direct-drive model, it is worth checking the condition of the fitted cartridge and its alignment, as well as the accuracy of the tracking force, adjustable between 1.6 and 2.0 g. Also check that the speed selector works properly and that motor start-up is consistent, both indicators of the overall condition of the drive mechanism.
